There are some important details we want you to know for your upcoming trip...


RAPID CITY RV PARK & CAMPGROUND RULES


CHECK IN & CHECK OUT:

  • Please confirm dates and details of your reservation (carefully review this information and call us immediately if there are any corrections necessary)
  • Check-in for RV's/Tenting is at 12:00pm and check-out is at 11:00am
  • Hotel/Cabin Check-in is at 2:00pm and check-out is 11:00am
  • Please confer with the front desk for any early check-ins or late departures. Thank you.


CANCELLATIONS:

  • To cancel your reservation, we kindly request that you provide a minimum of 48 hours' notice. Reservations canceled before the 48-hour time frame will be eligible for a full refund, with the exception of a $20 cancellation fee.  However, reservations that are not canceled before the 48-hour notice period will incur a 50% charge of the total cost of their stay. Please make sure to review and comply with this policy when making a reservation with us.
  •  STURGIS BIKE WEEK CANCELLATION POLICY: There is a 3 night deposit for bike week. To cancel your reservation, we kindly request that you cancel 31 days prior to your arrival date. Reservations canceled before the 31 day time frame will be eligible for a full refund, with the exception of a $20 cancellation fee. However, reservations that are not canceled before the 31 day notice period will incur a 50% charge of the total cost of their stay. Please make sure to review and comply with this policy when making a reservation with us.


GENERAL RULES:

  • Please respect your neighbors’ space (if there is an issue, please report it to the office immediately, so we can resolve the issue).
  • Grills on stands are allowed for cooking. 
  • No jacuzzi/hot tubs 
  • All trash must be placed in trash cans or dumpsters and not left out at campsites. 
  • Please do not climb hillsides. 
  • Per South Dakota State Law, do not walk through occupied sites. 
  • Generators are not allowed. 
  • All guest are visitors of the property and can not claim residency. 

RV SPOTS:

  • Please keep the campsites clean, neat and tidy. 
  • There is a $25 fee for excessive trash/pet excrement at the RV spot.
  • One clothesline per RV. 
  • One tent per RV spot, or tent spot which is an add on fee.

HOTEL ROOMS:

  • NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND
  • There is a $100 fee for smoking any substance in the hotel/cabins.
  • There is a $100 fee for excessive damage to hotels/cabins.
  • No excessive noise.

CABINS:

  •  Cabins require guests to provide their own bedding and towels.
  •  Cabins use a community campground bath/shower house.
  • NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND
  • There is a $100 fee for smoking any substance in the hotel/cabins.
  • There is a $100 fee for excessive damage to hotels/cabins.
  • No excessive noise.

CAMPSITES: 

  • No excess storage at campsite. 
  • There is a $25 fee for excessive trash/pet excrement at the campsite spot.
  • One tent and one vehicle per tent site ($10 fee to add a second tent).
  • Tent sites will not be rented for periods longer than 7 days.
  • Individuals tenting use a community campground bath/shower house.

ILLEGAL DUMPING:  

  • Please do not leave large items in the dumpster or anywhere around the park.  These items include: Awnings, mattresses, tires, toilets or any large boxes.  If you have these items that need to be discarded, contact the front desk and they can be taken for a $20 dollar fee.  
  • Violators will be fined $100.

PETS:

  • Pets are welcome, with the exception of PITBULLS. We apologize for the inconvenience.
  • Aggressive animals will not be allowed. 
  • Park reserves the right to make the final decision on any animal. 
  • Pet must always be on a maximum 6ft leash when outside and the owner must be present with the pet. 
  • Pets must not be left unattended outside at any time. 
  • Pet droppings must be picked up and discarded. 
  • Pets are not allowed in the pool area. 
  • Immediate eviction without refund will follow any animal bite or attack. 
  • All shots must be current with proof available if needed. 
  • We love pets and responsible pet owners. We strive to keep our park clean and appreciate your help.

CONNECTION HOSES: 

  • All hoses must have a leak free connection. If leaking, turn off until repaired.
  • Per South Dakota State Law, septic hoses must have a donut or plastic connector to attach to our hookup. 
  • Park is not responsible for damaged hoses. 
  • Please replace the sewer cap before leaving.

ALCOHOL & SMOKING:

  •  No smoking or alcohol within 20ft of all buildings. 
  • No smoking in the pool area.
  • Cigarette butts are never to be discarded on the ground and violators will be asked to leave.

VEHICLES: 

  • Do not drive on grass or through empty campsites. 
  • No parking on empty campsites. 
  • 8 MPH speed limit. 
  • All vehicles must be completely contained on your campsite leaving fire lanes open. 
  • Permission is required for oil changes or vehicle washing.
  • Motorcycles are to be driven quietly. 
  • Any vehicle that does NOT fit within your spot, must be parked in the upper parking lot.

CHILDREN: 

  • Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Parents will be responsible for any damages caused by their children.

POOL: 

  • NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK. 
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. 
  • Barbecue grills are not allowed in the pool. 
  • GLASS CONTAINERS are NEVER allowed inside the pool fence. 
  • No diving or running allowed. 
  • No disposable diapers in the pool; swim diapers must be used.
  • Proper swimwear must be used. 
  • No smoking in the pool area. 
  • No pets in the pool area.
  • No water balloons.

CAMPFIRES: 

  • Campfires are permitted if conditions are favorable. 
  • Campfires must ALWAYS be attended to. 
  • Campfire flames must not exceed 3 ft in height. 
  • A water source for extinguishing a campfire must be immediately available. 
  • CAMPFIRES MUST BE COMPLETELY EXTINGUISHED BEFORE TURNING IN FOR THE NIGHT. 
  • NEVER place campfire ash/embers in a (plastic) trash can until it is cool to the touch.

PERSONAL CONDUCT: 

  • Any type of public disturbance will not be tolerated. Disorderly conduct by guests or visitors, including extreme drunkenness, nudity, loud obscenities or obnoxious behavior is not allowed. 
  • No obscene or offensive apparel, we are a family and would greatly appreciate it.
  • If the police are called for any disturbance, the service agreement of the campsite will be terminated and the campsite must be vacated immediately without refund. 
  • All guests and visitors must comply with all city, state, and federal laws. 
  • All guests and visitors must comply with park rules.

NO WIFI REPEATERS ALLOWED: 

  • We have a mesh WIFI system and a repeater is not needed. Repeaters interfere with our system, which weakens our signal and affects our guest service.

PROHIBITED: 

  • Use of firearms is not permitted in the park. 
  • Fireworks are not permitted in the park.

Winter RV Camping Contract

 This contract ("Agreement") is made between Rapid City RV Park and Campground and the undersigned camper for the rental of an RV camping spot during the winter months (October 1 to May 31). By reserving a spot, the Camper agrees to the following terms and conditions:


1. Amenities

During the winter months, the following amenities are included:

  • Water
  • Sewer
  • Electric
  • WiFi
  • Pull-through spot
  • Snow plowing services (if necessary)

Please note the gift shop, bathhouse, and laundry room will be closed during this period.

2. Rates and Payment

  • Monthly Rate: $750 per month plus taxes, with a minimum stay of 30 days.
  • Prorated Rate: If staying beyond 30 days, extra days will be charged at a prorated amount.
  • Payment: A credit card must be on file and will be charged at the beginning of each month.
  • Deposit: A deposit of (half of the first month's rate is required upon reservation.
  • Cancellation: A two-week notice is required for cancellations. If canceled within two weeks, the deposit will not be refunded.

3. Special Conditions

  • If checking in before October 1 and checking out after May 1, the regular season rate will apply for those days.
  • All spots will be available for rent to the general public after May 1. If you wish to stay after May 1, please provide ample notice to hold your spot.
  • Campers staying less than 30 days will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

4. Residency and Ejection

  • Staying at the RV Park during the winter does not constitute residency.
  • The RV Park reserves the right to eject campers for rule violations.

5. Winter Rules

  • If the temperature is below 50°F, water hoses must be disconnected from the water hydrant after filling the tank.
  • In case of emergency and the Camper is unable to disconnect the water line, the RV Park must be notified to disconnect the water line.
    • Each Camper is entitled to two emergency requests at no charge.
    • Additional emergency requests will incur a $20 fee.
    • Any cracked or damaged hydrants will result in a minimum $1,000 fee to cover repair costs.  The fee will not exceed the cost of repairs.  

6. Regular Season Rules

All regular season rules will still apply during the winter months.

By reserving a spot, the Camper agrees to all the terms and conditions outlined above. No signature is required on this contract.
